A boring bloggy soggy week!!!!
Yes it's snowing, again. We are in the midst of a soggy wet storm and I have writers block. So to days post is going to be a mish mash of our weeks events. Nothing special, nothing exciting, just our life over the past few days! My bamboo plant decided to croak on me and I couldn't tell you why but it ended up in the trash truck on Tuesday. The kids decided that they LOVE edamame and they cant stop eating it, I wont stop them either. If they want to eat healthy stuff then by all means go right ahead.

I never even got around to doing an Easter post, but the kids had a (messy) blast coloring eggs the night before. I don't know why but Easter really snuck up on me this year and I wasn't ready for it all! We made ham, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, asparagus, deviled eggs and yummy rolls. I made homemade ham and bean soup last night but that is a post for another day. Stay tuned!

The hubby added a new piece of art............................it's St. Michael the protector of police and their families. It was also a tribute tattoo to two of his buddies that have lost their lives in the line of duty.

I originally thought it was a quail but it's not and I haven't seen it since I followed it into my neighbors garage and took this picture of it.

LOVE the tattoo. I got one when my sister lost her son in a car accident. When I got there she said "Let's go. We're getting a tattoo." I said, "Honey, can't we just get a manicure??"
ReplyDeleteI think of her dear boy every time i look at my ankle.
I can't keep anything alive...so no plants live in our house. I am surprised my kids are still here. LOL I must be better keeping people around. :)
ReplyDeleteI am amazed that our bamboo and other house plants are still ok. I can't keep anything outside alive here though, the only outside I have are full sun balconies.. I bake things.
ReplyDeleteLove the tattoo! It's a beautiful piece, and a great tribute.
hmmm...maybe it's time for me to give edamame another try. I'd much prefer those cupcakes- or the mac n' cheese...
