Wordful Wednesday, New Beds

A few months ago I came across a picture of a mini loft bed. I fell in love with it and knew that's what I wanted for the boys. The only problem was that I could only find them online sold out of the UK. Um nooooo way was I going to pay those prices plus the shipping. My dad is a carpenter, so I asked him if he would be able to make 2 of them for the boys.

Well guess what was delivered for us on Sunday?!
2 brand new mini loft beds for the boys. They LOVE them and are so excited to sleep in them.

    Those beds are great, but how do they get up into them? (Silly me I just can't figure it out. )

    Those beds do look like a ton of fun! My boys are going to end up doing the bunk bed thing. This is a nice alternative though because you still get floor space for play and shelving!

    Those are awesome! What a great job too!! :) My dad was a crafter, and I still have several pieces of furniture that he made because he saw something in a magazine, scoffed at the price, and said "I can make that!" :D

    How neat...I need a carpenter for all the projects that i think up that my husband doesn't quite know how to do...those loft beds are too much fun!!

    Verry cool. Glad he could make them. I ordered bunkbed from a local store once and it took them 3 months (3 Months!!) to ship them from California.
