He was found playing with matches about 3 years ago and he was throwing them in the trash!!!!
I guess he will just have to learn the hard way. Being grounded sucks. especially when he has a half day today and no school tomorrow and thru the weekend.Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02637932267766698808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2814980660022035667.post-80922032438620012922009-05-07T13:42:00.000-06:002009-05-07T13:42:00.000-06:00Okay, I'm the bad parent who lets my kids play wit...Okay, I'm the bad parent who lets my kids play with fire..well not play but my kids and I are learning the art of fire dancing. :)

Before I let them try it we made a trip to our local fire station and they saw videos about how destructive fire is and learned about fire safety. Maybe if you had him take cookies to the fire station they would give him a tour and he could see it is serious buisness.Marshmallow Circushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01363368359496966035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2814980660022035667.post-76192598701919367332009-05-06T17:31:00.000-06:002009-05-06T17:31:00.000-06:00I know a little manual labor like that would cure ...I know a little manual labor like that would cure my kids, too. :)Claremont First Wardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02529859630615522678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2814980660022035667.post-6744161633568707482009-05-06T15:56:00.000-06:002009-05-06T15:56:00.000-06:00Ugh. Ever had to deal with a school that should send kids home and doesn't :p It may be inconvenient for parents, but it's part of the learning process - it tells the kid in no uncertain terms "This behavior is NOT acceptable"!

My SIL had a child who liked fire. They found a safe outlet to let him explore the urge. I mean, fire IS fascinating and I remember my dad allowing us to try burning things (in a safe ways - he had done enough time as crash crew, fireman to not be silly). Anyhow, it helped her son and he's got past his fascination. Here's her post on it http://smilesandtrials.blogspot.com/2008/12/playing-with-fire-literally.htmlConniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03667481504650498976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2814980660022035667.post-79310544860108422592009-05-05T21:01:00.000-06:002009-05-05T21:01:00.000-06:00Oh no a little pyro already?
